Stormwater Quality/NPDES Compliance

On March 10, 2003 the City of Hendersonville was required by the State of Tennessee to obtain a National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit for its discharges of Storm Water run-off through the City’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System. Over the next few years several new programs will come to light relating to stormwater quality as the City takes a larger role in protecting one of our most valuable natural resources.
