The City now offers a convenient way to drop off non-cash property tax payments. A drop box (pictured) has been added to the front entrance of City Hall.

You can drop off property tax payments now 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Only payments made by check, cashier’s check, or money order made payable to “City of Hendersonville” will be accepted. Please include... your receipt number on your payment.

Any payments dropped after February 28,2017 will be considered late and penalties and interest will be assessed.

President’s Day Holiday


The Administrative Offices of the City of Hendersonville will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2017 for President’s Day Holiday.  Offices will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2017 and reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017.  Police and Fire Department emergency response personnel will continue in their usual operations.

Fence Permit Required


As per Ordinance 2015-16, Section 10.4 I , a Fence Permit must be obtained before erecting a fence in the City of Hendersonville and the Hendersonville Planning Region.  Permits are issued by the Planning Department, City Hall, 101 Maple Drive North.  Call (615) 826-5316 with questions.  Thank you.
