4/6/2025 Update:
There are trees down across the city following yesterday and overnight storms.
Our crews have been working since yesterday and have nearly gotten all the roads cleared! 🙌🏻 All together we had nearly two dozen roads blocked or partially blocked with downed trees and/or lines. We are so grateful for our amazing teams who work around the clock to help our city!
Flood waters have receded some, which allowed Drakes Creek and Saundersville to reopen as well. We are hopeful these will remain open but they could close again if waters start to rise. Never drive over standing water. If you approach a road with flood waters, turn around.
NES has restored power to many areas, but there are still some outages due to downed lines.
