Hendersonville Road Work Watch:

In order to minimize impacts to traffic in the city, the following roadwork projects will be completed next week (10/6 – 10/10) during the Sumner County School Fall Break. Residents can check this page throughout the week for updates on projected traffic impacts.

Stop 30 Road

Rogers Group will be working to finish shoulder repairs and begin paving Stop 30 from Drakes Creek Rd to New Shackle Island Rd. 

Friday Update: In order to help ensure the work is completed during the fall break window, crews will begin working at 7:00 am and will continue until dark on Friday. There will be intermittent closures throughout the day. Flag crews will be present to help with traffic flow. Please try to avoid this road if possible and plan for delays in the area. 

Wednesday/Thursday Update: Due to weather, crews were not able to begin work until Wednesday. The closure point for Thursday will be near New Shackle Road, just past Jake's Place. 
*Jake's Place is best accessed from New Shackle Island Rd throughout the week. 

Stop 30 Construction

Drakes Creek Rd at Stop 30

In preparation for upcoming improvements to Drakes Creek Rd, Utility groups have begun work to relocate utility lines. Crews will be working intermittently along Drakes Creek Rd from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. This will include single lane closures. Plan ahead as this can cause delays during this time. 

Saundersville Rd

Saundersville Rd Crews will be working to make improvements to Saundersville Rd between the SR-386 ramp and Wyncrest Way from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. During this time, flag crews will be present to direct traffic around the construction. Residents should expect delays during this time.

Saundersville Rd Construction

Cages Rd and Harlan Ave

As a part of the realignment projects, Cages Rd will be closed to through traffic on 10/6 and Harlan Ave will be closed to through traffic on 10/8. Local traffic will be allowed.
