Project Overview
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is constructing a project on Walton Ferry Road/Old Shackle Island Road. The project, which stretches from Nokes Drive to Volunteer Drive, includes reconstruction, realignment, and widening for approximately one mile.
The improvements are intended to address congestion, improve safety, and accommodate growth in this rapidly developing area. Construction is slated to begin in February 2025. The construction timeline is expected to be approximately 36 months once it begins.
