Committee Mission Statement
The Lakeshore Committee was created by ordinance in February 2025 with the responsibility of studying issues relative to and affecting Old Hickory Lake and our shoreline within the city's corporate limits. This committee will provide continuing input to the Board of Mayor and Alderman and other pertinent City Officials on issues pertaining to the shoreline of Hendersonville. They will also help the Hendersonville community connect with current uses and the long-term vision for Old Hickory Lake while balancing environmental protections, private property rights and recreational use of the lake and shoreline.

The Lakeshore Committee normally meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in Conference Room 2 at City Hall. Please check the calendar for any changes or updates to meeting times.
